Specialized Medicine and Responsible Treatment PAC

Political action committee dedicated to preserve, protect and defend the practice of homeopathic medicine in the United States

About Us

The SMART PAC was established in June of 2017 and is a political action committee dedicated to preserve, protect and defend the practice of homeopathic medicine in the United States of America. This Super PAC can accept donations of any size, and from any source, but donations made to the SMART PAC are not tax deductible.

Mission Statement:

To promote and defend Homeopathy as a viable healthcare choice for everyone

Vision Statement:

To have Homeopathy be an accepted option in our national health care system

The Super SMART PAC (SSPAC) is a freestanding entity not directly affiliated with any other homeopathic organization, foundation, medical society or center. The SSPAC will seek to represent and defend the practice of homeopathy in the United States of America without undue favoritism or bias toward any existing or future homeopathic organization.

The SSPAC will make independent expenditures consistent with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit decision in SpeechNow v. FEC.

It will raise funds in unlimited amounts.

The SSPAC will not use funds to make contributions, whether direct, in-kind, or via coordinated communications, to federal candidates or committees.

The SSPAC will continuously endeavor to:

  1. Fight the misrepresentation of homeopathy in the public arena, the media and in professional journals
  2. Seek unlimited donations from all independent sources
  3. Spend unlimited amounts to achieve these goals
  4. Hire legal, media and professional consultants to help achieve these goals

The SSPAC will influence political activity in the U.S. to:

  1. Establish and improve the credibility and acceptability of homeopathy as a medical specialty
  2. Inform the public regarding the science and efficacy of homeopathic medicine
  3. Work to dispel myths, hearsay and false evidence used to discredit homeopathy
  4. Assure that homeopathy continues to be practiced legally
  5. Ensure that high quality and safe homeopathic medicines continue to be available to practitioners and the public alike
  6. Ensure that homeopathy remains a preferred choice healthcare option

The SSPAC will maintain a website to establish:

  1. An independent site to solicit and receive donations
  2. A credible and authoritative database containing references and citations and links
